1000 HAIL MARY’S – OCTOBER 13
Celebrating the 100th Year of the Miraculous Medal, St. Catherine of Genoa Church invites you to the 1,000 Hail Mary’s on Saturday, October 13th at 7 am.   Holy Mass at 9 am.   Recitation of the Rosary at the Grotto at 12 noon.   Divine Mercy at 3 pm.   Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament throughout the day.   

PARISH BAPTISMS – OCTOBER 21
Our next Parish Baptisms will be celebrated on Sunday, October 21st, during the 11:00 am Mass. Baptism Instructions will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 12 noon in the Rectory Basement. Parents and Godparents must attend the class. Parents are reminded that when choosing godparents, at least one of them must be a practicing Catholic.

ANNUAL BINGO FUNDRAISER – OCTOBER 21
St. Catherine of Genoa Church is hosting a fundraiser in aid of church repairs. This event is being sponsored by the Grenadians of St. Catherine. Date:- Saturday, October 21st from 6:30 pm. to 10:00 pm. at 870 Albany Avenue (Between Linden Blvd; and Church Avenue).  The donation is $20.00.  The Jackpot is $1,000.00 and there are many other attractive prizes.  For more information, please contact any member of the Grenadian Society.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 
The vitality and the vibrancy of the parish are also measured by its religious education program.  It is important that students who attend public schools be registered for religious education in the parish every year, not only for immediate preparation for the sacraments. Registration Fee is $50.00 for one child; $75.00 for two and $100.00 for three children. Registration fee must be paid when you register your child. New students must show their Birth and Baptismal Certificates at registration. Classes began on Sunday, September 16th, at 9:45 a.m. in the School.

ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED
The Parish is desperately In need of Altar Servers. Any young boys or girls from third grade who wish to serve at the Lord’s table are asked to join the Ministry of Servers. Meetings are held on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12 noon. For more information, please call the rectory or speak to one of the Priests or the Moderator.
